Really an awesome movie, good try from director and Nice try fooling people.

After my research on this trekking incident happened got to know many things.

Yes that incident was true it happened actually. But what happened is totally different from this movie.

Actual Story what happened: The group went to trekking and they lost in forest as that forest is very big. No one found how they died but only one girl finally spoke in front of camera asking sorry to her parents and told am not coming home alive.

And also they don't have any footage like ghosts are anything. According to police they would have died because of starvation and other normal reason.This forest is inside western ghats.

The paper cuttings which they show in movie is real, but date was wrong.

How they made movie:

Idea of making movie is really appreciated.

Director combined paper cuttings, this trekking incident, footage camera they found, And the movie BLAIR WITCH PROJECT.

Finally they shoot the movie with new actors used all these factors and the subtitle shot by LATE RAMESH is again catching thing in movie(its just subtitle).

The name ombattu means 9. Its a very thick and dense forest.

Incident like this happens in this very big and dense forest commonly.
You wont get any phone signal and by 3 pm  it will be dark at winters. Without any proper plan 100% we will be in trouble not only here in fact everywhere.
There are no ghosts or nothing in this place. Still many people goes for trekking here. And enjoying nature.

But this place is awesome and must do trek once in lifetime. In this movie simply they have used this.
With proper security measures and forest department instructions should trek once.

Incident like this happens in all the trekking and all the places. In this same place in 2012 also bad thing happened here

Movie is really good, but they shouldnt have tried to fool people. But still good try.

And dont get scare of trekking its just a movie. and they used this place to shoot
